Photo Update

Ready for a total photo update of the past three weeks?
First of all- we got an iMac, which is the reason why I have not been putting up any photos for a few weeks.  This thing is different.  I've never used one before (really, only one time previously) and it has me scratching my head a lot, but I'm getting it slowly.

Our bigger screen now allows for Joe to have both ESPN 360 playing on one side of the screen while his power point that he's studying from sits on the other side.  Also notice, he's texting his brother about the football game with his iPhone at the same time.  He is an apple man!

Which do you think you'd pay more attention to? :)

My crafts this fall have been mostly focused on pillows and another quilt....

I have a handful of pillows that I want to remake.  For example, this bad boy.  It's huge, although the picture doesn't really show it and I have three of them.

So, I slimmed it down to a smaller size and put a more colorful quilt pattern with buttons of the front! I like how it turned out.

My quilt project is made completely from flannels.  It's going to be so cozy sitting on my couch in this thing this winter.  More photos to come when it's all finished up.

We've had some get togethers for the BYU football games. Here we are at the Robertsons!

Tyler, the master barbequer. Did somebody say hamburgers?

So many of my friends have the cutest little babies around!
Playing with them is as fun as watching the game!

Twinners- Luke and Anna

Miss Saylor Robertson.  It's so cute when she says her own name.
It's sounds like, "Saylo Wobetsun."

Brinlee and her baby.

Probably the newest arrivals.... Erika with baby Elliana and Chelsea with baby Oakley.

Chelsea, Me with baby Oakley, Lacey with baby #2 in tow, Mindy with baby #1 in tow. Yeah for babies!

Me & my Man sporting our BYU love.

We watched the BYU vs. UofU game in the school's big rec room.  There were probably 30 people there from Utah to support the cause.  Too bad, BYU didn't really show up to our party.

Half time show.

Foozball fun!

We finally got out to go kayaking at the state park 10 minutes down the road from our house! We went with a really fun group on a perfect day.  The water was even warm!

I started this game to see if  anyone could go from in the water to standing on the kayak and rowing.

It cought on pretty quickly with the guys.  Poor Joe and Kevin... I don't think they ever got up and they knocked themselves in the adam's apple a couple times trying to pull themselves onto their kayaks!

Last Sunday, we had the Gillette's in our ward over for dinner.  Afterward, Tamra and Joe worked on planning out the rest of the year's choir numbers (they co-op the choir director position in the ward).  Their daughter, Annalisa, played with the one toy that we have in our house: Tigger.
Nathan and I worked on figuring out my computer since he is a wiz with the Macs!

I've been having regular craft nights at our house every Thursday night for a couple months now.  Usually, about 2 girls make it, but last week, we had 6 come!  It was so much fun.  The more, the merrier!  Everybody brings whatever they want to work on and we have a great time chatting away while we craft.

To all my female friends in town reading this blog post... you are invited!!  Every Thursday night at 8:00pm-10:30ish.  I will hold it every Thursday except when Maegan and I are hosting sewing club night at the school, which is September 29th this month! You won't want to miss it!

And that my friends, is a rap.

I was looking through your pictures and recognized some of your friends as guys that I had a lot of classes with in my major at UVU! Tyler was one and I can't remember the other's name. He's on the far left in the picture where you're all watching the game. What a small world! Are they doing PA?
