A friend of mine and Joe's (who is our home teacher) came to visit us today and gave us a message about the importance of the family in God's plan for our happiness.
As I was looking at some pictures tonight, I thought more about his message to us.
Being part of a family is a big blessing to me and is foundational to my happiness.
It's family that supports us and cheers for us through our biggest moments in life.
Then people to look up to and aspire to be like.
Family traditions give me things to look forward to every year.
These are the people that we do crazy things with.
Here's Joe and his brothers having a great time cliff jumping off a 15 ft. cliff at Quail Reservoir.
and here's my sister and I scared to death, jumping off a 20ish ft. platform in Idaho.
It's your family that you're the most silly with and therefore, have the funniest memories with.
When it's time for fun, the family is always good company!
Family gives us people to celebrate birthdays with.
and see the world with.
Of course my sweetheart is my best friend and his existence in my life brings me endless joy.
He's always doing things that make me laugh :)
and make me feel loved.
Thank you God for my family!
They make my heart smile.

Well said!
So true! I'm pretty sure those in my family are the only ones who really KNOW me, cuz like you said, they're the only ones I'm silly with and ever see me "let loose." Great post.
