What a sweetheart my husband is!
I came home on Friday from work to find this surprise on our kitchen counter.
Joe had finished his last final of the quarter on Friday morning and instead of rushing out to go golfing or something for himself... he went straight to the store to buy his wife some flowers and candy.
Then he spent about an hour making that homemade card for me.
He just wanted me to know that he was thankful for all that I did to help him get through his finals week and another crazy, busy quarter.
I really felt like Joe was the one that deserved the peanut butter M&Ms (one of both of our favorite candies) and the card because of how extremely hard he has been working, pulling late and early hours, with little time to do much of anything else but study.
So, we shared the M&Ms together and basked in the thought of one more quarter being behind us!
Only one more to go before rotations begin!!!

I agree with Joe -- advanced degrees belong just as much to the spouse who goes through it with them. That was very sweet of him to do that for you. :)
